I was out of wax (that is why I was using gel which I had only bought to do my DDs hair for dance concerts) and will try your suggestion of spray wax, if it is available here in Oz. I did a double take when I saw that first picture, not because it doesn't look like you, but just that this particular style looks SO GOOD on your face.</p> <p>A few years ago I had hair that wasn't quite a pixie, but was slightly longer than yours, and I found gel very hard to manage - it left my hair flat by halfway through the day.
