I didn't find the broderie anglaise hard to work with (I did line with cotton). It was much easier that than the 2 garments I made at the same time from stretch fabrics that are basically ruined already. (Though I'll need new bootcuts as the heel is a little higher than my previous shoes.) Do you think they can be worn with skirts and dresses as well or do they just look too much like granny shoes? </p>
