I am OBSESSED with this jacket and can’t stop tossing it on as a topper with jeans, but the stylist/manager of the showroom also suggested trying it with a dress... more on the dress in a moment! This was by far the MVP during a trip to New York this past weekend.<br /> Universal Standard also offers this bomber in a satin oyster, or a matte black wool blend/suiting material. </p> <p>The second piece that I tried and brought home is the Universal Standard Geneva dress, a loose, asymmetrical, short-sleeved dress that’s ruched and cut high at one knee, and midi-length on the other side. This particular teal dress is in their crepe fabric, so it’s dressier than the knit version of the Geneva. The color is amazing (they have a few different varieties, but this was my favorite) and the dress moves like a dream. The crepe is thick enough that I’m not concerned about needing shapewear or feeling too exposed, but I also have a shape-I don’t feel like my curvy hourglass frame is hiding. I LOVE it. </p> <p>Pictures 4-7 were when I tried it on. 1-3 were for an evening at the ballet, when I had to rush home from work, clean myself up while making the dog got out and had dinner, then dash out for the performance.
