Really powerful television. Crazyone / Chouette: I have not yet watched Borgen! So excited to have another show on the list. My husband and I have just started watching Colony on "regular TV" (USA network, I think?) which starts Sawyer from Lost, and it has a very similar plot to Occupied, although the players are different. Instead of Russia, the occupiers are a nefarious undefined "other" which appears to be alien. Still, quite good and many of the same themes: how far to provoke the enemy, agents and double agents, insurgencies brewing in the background, etc. It's an American show so it's louder, faster, and more brash but still enjoyable. Well acted, interesting political issues, and Russia plays the baddie really, really well. Not such a great source for fashion porn, but there are some terrific architecture and design moments.
