Do you think I should make the lining shorter than the front sheer layer, the sales assistant recommended that when I bought the dress? I think I will have to keep things very simple when wearing the coat because it is such a statement piece on its own and better to leave the lines uncluttered.</p> <p><b>Suz </b>- I am hoping that the coat has a bit of longevity. However, I am planning on wearing the heck out of it right now. </p> <p><b>Mainlady</b> - I love velvet because it does have a luxurious feel - it is sort of comforting in being so soft and warm.</p> <p><b>Efben</b> - glad to hear the teal dress is a favourite because I can see me wearing this a lot - to work, out to dinner - it is pretty versatile because it is dressy, but not excessively so. As for the velvet coat, well that is just a bit of fun really. I am amazed at how long midi length suits you as much as short. The first emerald dress should be very versatile. <br />I think it's the best bet to pair the dark florals with nude pumps, so the eyes aren't distracted by another patch of dark at the bottom. That way you really give center stage to these beautiful pieces and beautiful you inside them.&nbsp;<br />I really dig outfit 4.&nbsp;</p> <p>I am less a fan of the pant leg with this coat in 9. The pieces seem lovely separately. I would try the pants with a shorter topper and strapped heeled sandals if you have some, or the shoes shown in 7.
