Each slot for shoes holds several scarves. It is made of clear vinyl/plastic so I can see the scarves, and I have them in color groups, much the way you do. (I don't have to worry about light damage because our bedroom has north facing french doors and only very high &amp; indirect clerestory light from two sides). </p> <p>I've tried grouping the scarves lots of different ways &amp; only today hit upon color families. And the weirdest thing is that completely balances them out! </p> <p>I feel ready to add new scarves with confidence that I'm not repeating colors or patterns and I love the crayola-box effect of seeing them all at once when I'm making an outfit. </p> <p>I admit, it's out of sight out of mind when I store things in drawers and trunks. Anyone else have that problem? </p>
