Thanks for the feedback and encouragement, everyone!

So...I decided to keep the Kellys in the Pacific wash, along with the white clams. The Paris wash Kellys went back to Macy's today. Thanks Chewy and Angie for the food for thought.

Regarding tailoring: I'm still thinking about hemming the Kellys for flats and sneakers. I hadn't considered pocket removal for the clams, but I'll keep that in mind.

The fit on all of them looks great! They flatter your shape beautifully.

What do you think of the visible pockets on the white clamsdiggers? If I owned them I think it would bug me. Maybe san's suggestion about having them removed would help.

KILLER. Everything looks KILLER. Well done, Lesley! You look fabulous in all of these items.

Just a thought, you live in a hot place, do you think that two pairs of jeans are a priority at the moment? Perhaps you need to get more clams, skirts and dresses?

But you know- you could totally go to playgroup in a high wedge- which you would wear with your "heels" jeans!

Thanks Chewy! We're totally on the same wavelength. I think the reason that I haven't been wearing jeans with heels is that my regular daily activities don't require heels. Can you imagine going to playgroup with your kids in stilettos??? LOL.

I was thinking that if I kept one pair, I'd keep the Pacific wash and hem them for flats and sneakers. I'd also keep the clams.

If I kept the Paris wash too, then I would wear them with heels, because the wash seems "dressier" to me.

They're all great. I hope you keep them all. I love the cut of all of them and hope you can get one pair hemmed for flats as CS said above. I love COH jeans and you made great choices.
Are you going to get the pockets sewn closed and cut off because of lining show through? I don't know if you've seen that discussed here before. Some people have done that trick.

Well, I like them all- they fit great. I like the Pacific better, so if you just keep one I vote for that one. I do think that it's smart to have a pair for flats and a pair for heels, though. Jeans are such a basic staple item, when you find a pair that fits so well I think you should keep them. Maybe you haven't been wearing them with heels because you don't have a great pair right now?

Thanks, Kari!

Both Kelly jeans are bootcut. I think that the draping of the fabric, angle of the pics, etc. are making it look like one pair is a flare.

They both are snug. I went down a size to account for any growth. The Pacific Blue Kellys are size 24 because for some reason, that wash in a size 25 looked a bit baggy on my butt.

I was debating about whether I should keep one or both pairs of the Kellys. I was thinking of using the Paris wash for heels, and the Pacific blue wash for flats and sneakers. However, lately, I haven't been wearing heels with my jeans. So, I was wondering if it would make more sense to just have one pair for flats and sneakers, then get some of the other clothing items that I need.

Thoughts?

I think you look amazing in all of them!

Are the COH Kelly jeans two different cuts? The size 24s look like they have a wider flare/bootcut leg opening, but it could just be the way the fabric is draping in the pictures. I really couldn't tell that they were different sizes based on the way they fit you in the pictures - does one size feel better than the other?

Okay...I made some denim purchases this weekend, in my quest to rebuild my casual wardrobe. They are all COH brand: 2 pairs of Kelly jeans in different washes, and one pair of white clamdiggers. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
