Yes and no. It's also in the quality of the denim. Superior quality denim tends to grow less. Also, don't buy jeans with more than 2% lycra - they'll be falling off you the next day.

Thanks for the review...Is it the lycra in jeans that make them grow?

I have seen it, worn it and am not impressed, which is why I have never recommended the product on our site. It does not solve any "bulging problem" unless your pants fit perfectly already and don't grow - in which case you don't need one anyway! If your pants grow, it’s still best to go down a size or have them altered at the waistband.

Anyone ever hear of the Invisibelt? It's a clear plastic belt with a slim line buckle. It is supposed to solve the problem of pants that grow, or help you out if you are in the process of losing weight, but not quite ready to buy new pants. The slim buckle is supposed to disappear under your tops, so you don't get that ugly belt buckle bulge. OH, and it's $20....

I'm curious what people here think about this. I'm not convinced that a belt will help your pants from growing---especially if they grow in the seat!
