I'm glad it's so positive. I love the short too. It's a nice change, no commitment, and, best of all, no worries that by next weel it will have grown out of its shape already. I remember my pixie days, and how disappointing it was that a $100+ haircut would look good only on the first week.&nbsp;<br />It's funny because you can pretty much decide on the hairline with a wig, and if I push the hairline lower on my forehead, I get the effect of the hair when it's grown a little. And I really don't like it as much! Which confirms to me that I love the pixie, but don't love when it outgrows itself. I think I have found my solution!<br />This was a 69$ wig, and it's human hair, and it's "custom made". While the hair is soft, the cap isn't nearly as comfortably made as my other more expensive wigs. However, because of the human hair, it's not as hot as a synthetic wig, and because it's short, the cap doesn't move as much (no hair pulling it down in one or the other direction). Therefore, even though it's not as tight nor as breathable as others, it's still more comfortable in the hot weather. I popped into a local wig shop targetting more of a hispanic and African-Canadian crowd, but I love the girl there who always has the best suggestions for accessories, caps and glue etc. I tried many styles, most of them did not work with me. But I found a red one that was so 1920's. The SA pulled another blond one. I first bought the red one, came home, my son saw it and saw pictures from the blond one and begged me to go back to get the blond one. So I did. And the SA said "So you've come to your senses!" with a smile and exchanged it without a fuss.&nbsp;</p> <p>It's a "Remy" 100% human hair wig, and I got it for less than 100$.&nbsp;</p> <p>What do you think of this style?<br />(#1 is the wig I returned)</p>
