I have been notified when the price drops on things that I have pinned, and I thought I saw a way to activate or deactivate this feature (but now when I look in my settings, I can't seem to find it).

Interesting, Rachy.

I may start a wish list board and see what happens. I don't have the discipline to keep checking back on a myriad of items. I tend to just forget them and move on. And these days I pretty much refuse to pay full price. Everyone is having sales.

I have. There was a site, Shelf It (?) that did this too. I wonder if it's still up or if Pinterest perhaps bought it. I hope they sold to Pinterest; otherwise, they just lost the race.

I keep a private board where I pin items that I've purchased. It includes a watch purchased at Nordies a couple of years ago, that they still carry. Just now I rec'd an email that the price had dropped 10%.

Has anyone else rec'd this type of email from Pinterest? This could have potential for stalking an item if the search feature (or whatever one calls it) is comprehensive.
