It looks like the checked dress is hitting you somewhere in between, which is shortening your torso and emphasizing your bust, but not in a way that makes you happy. The neckline isn't helping, either--it has a widening effect. The reason the first look works is that it hides the proportions that are bothering you. That's a hard style to pull off on an ample bosom (believe me, I have tried). If you're okay wearing it under a cardi or jacket, I would keep it, but if you want something more versatile, I would pass.</p> <p>The second one looks fine to me but I sympathize with your hesitations. I hate wearing anything that makes me look "all boobs" on top, which sometimes happens with an empire waist.
