It's a very orangey-red and (I think) warms up my skin tone.</p> <p>Janet, that's probably why I ended up liking version #3 the best myself - I like wearing one "stand out" item and letting it, well, stand out!</p> <p>Lyn 67, I am so glad I kept the Marilyn booties. How strange is that? I'm not sure why, other than even though IRL the red blazer seems to fit me really well, but in pics it looks a little loose (well, looser than in the stock photo, which isn't saying much because to me it looks like they have it pulled back). I wore them so little, in fact, that I almost donated them. I decided to keep them (I love all things plaid) and I'm glad I did as I have found new love for them over the past few weeks. Here's how I wore them on three separate occasions (but all photographed today since I had more time).&nbsp;</p> <p>Pic 1 - wore to church on Sunday, pic 2 wore to work on Monday, pic 3 wore last night to an event.</p> <p>The pants are Joe Fresh, the turtleneck in #3 is Zara, the necklace in #2 is J Crew Factory, everything else is in Finds. I altered the pants (back seam and waistband), nothing else needed alterations (although I might take up the sleeves on both blazers).</p> <p>We have a large closet in the basement where we store out-of-season clothing, and it's also a "holding zone" for items that I'm considering getting rid of. Do you have any items from past seasons that fell out of favor but are now getting worn again? I think I need to pay my basement closet another visit </p>
