I think the smaller, longer jacket looks perfect on you. Leather jackets stretch a little bit so don't buy too big. And I remove my fitted jackets when driving and put them on at my destination.

I think the fit is spot on and it is boxier as it is supposed to be. You sound like you have reservations though about the look. Only you can decide if you love it and will actually wear it.

Love the look on you and I am also new to moto jackets...and currently in a search. I have returned so many mostly because they just didn't feel good. I want to be grabbing for this jacket a lot so it has to feel good on so many levels. I just wouldn't settle until you find the right one. But again, the look is great on you.

Thank you all! Any more opinions on this smaller longer length jacket? I'm in love with this style, but is it too tight or awkward looking in the shoulders? It fits perfectly throughout the back/body but feels snug in the shoulders when I reach my arms out or when I'm driving. Is this normal with fitted leather jackets? I feel silly asking these questions but I am new to leather jackets but I do not know how they typically fit. I decided to return the other style in size 8 because it was just too baggy for me in the body/back..I find that some of Muubaa's jackets run smaller/larger than some of their other jackets. I would order a size 8 in this style to compare but they are sold out. Would love to know the appropriate fit for future reference.

I like both moto jackets on you. You should be a model. My question to you is why do you want this second leather moto jacket?

Thank you so much everyone! Here's a couple of more (unflattering) photos that made me think it might be a little too big for me..I also attached pics of my fitted longer moto jacket to compare. (size 6)

I agree with Marilyn. The sleeves and shoulders look good. I also don't see too much looseness around your body. In fact I think the fit looks on trend.

I think it looks good. The shoulder seam appears to be right at the edge of your shoulder where it should be. Sleeve length looks good. Doesn't look sloppy.
I bought a similar moto jacket in the fall and ended up with the larger of the two sizes I tried on. Unless you don't plan on wearing anything but a tee under it I wouldn't go too snug.

No, I don't think you should size down. I think it's a heroin chic kind of look. I really like it on you, much better than on the model.

...Um, do those two sentences one after the other sound as wrong to you as they do to me? Lol. It's a good thing, I swear.

Hello! I recently purchased a muubaa leather jacket on sale, and the jacket is now completely sold out. This is my 2nd moto jacket, but my other moto jacket is fitted and is very snug with long sleeve shirts. muubaa's website suggested going up one size from your normal size if you intend to layer, so I followed their advice. I'm normally a US size 6 and purchased this jacket in US size 8. Is this how boxy moto jackets are supposed to look or does it look way too big on me? Should I keep it or return it? I love the oversized look on the models but not sure if it looks right for me..so also have a history of being hesitant with returning online orders but will grow obsessed with the new item a week later. I'm new to leather moto jackets so advice is appreciated! Thank you.
