Be careful of house plants when you get the kitty home though - she nearly lost one of hers when he ate a poisonous house plant. He'll be very healthy at that weight. So, yes, big by cat standards, especially as my boy is a Russian Blue whose breed&nbsp;tops out at around 9 pounds for boys. He'll have to whip the new guy into shape before the kitten grows!</p> <p>They are supposed to be friendly and affectionate.
