I have to wear a uniform for summer work (as a cleaner in a hotel) as well, none of which we can choose. Basically it is black sweatpants (yuck) and an unfitted male-cut blue tshirt (double yuck). We are supposed to wear black athletic shoes as well but I wear my green converse. Yuck yuck yuck. I didn't want to take the job for that reason alone but they came in with a great salary offer, benefits, etc. and divorce didn't seem a good option either (yes, my husband would have killed me if I turned it down!). </p> <p>So, shopping for black and khaki slacks, dark purple and red shirts. Can do a combo. Boring! But I guess I can focus my shopping on after work and day off wear. </p>
