I wore them yesterday and they didn't seem to strech any that I noticed. They do have little puckers in the fabric all over when I'm not wearing them though. I don't know what causes this and if it will get worse. A pair of my housework only jeans has this problem too (and is too big and too short), but the puckers are pronounced enough to show even when I'm wearing them, probably because they are big enough that the puckering doesn't stretch over my thighs.

Goodness, what a difference a well-fitting pair of jeans makes! You look great. Definitely get some in a dark wash for heels.

I’m glad to hear that everyone likes the fit. I hated trying on all of those jeans, so discouraging at first, but it was worth it to find these. They are a size 1… and I was wearing 4’s and 6’s before. Yikes! Their only issue is that they do give me a little muffin top, especially when I sit. That and I’m not used to my jeans feeling this tight.

Yes, I am wearing heels in the photo, simply because the jeans are so long. I haven’t worn them out of the house (and dressing room) yet though. I guess you can’t see it in the pictures, but they more drag the ground than skim it when standing. They are about ¼ inch too long for my 3 inch heels, but then they are regulars and I’m borderline petite. Thanks for the advice. I will have them hemmed for flats. I guess the only reason I would want to wear them with heels would be if I had those Keds wedges, which I don’t. Now dark wash jeans and white jeans are next on my shopping list. My old size 4 medium wash jeans can now be demoted to painting/gardening/housework jeans.

Nicole, these jeans are “So Stretch.” It’s funny, they are the same brand as my khaki pants, the best fit of my old pants. Only those are a size 3 (instead of 1 like the jeans) and too short even with flats. I may look for these in dark wash. The consignment store didn’t have any darker, but I know Khols sells the brand. My only worry is that since their original price is under $40 they may stretch out too much. I wouldn’t mind if they stretched in the stomach, but if they stretched in the butt I would have the same problems I do with other jeans. Still, the price can’t be beat, so I may try them in dark wash. I also want to try the brands Angie and Maya suggested from the Nordstrom junior department.

I can't believe what a difference it makes to see you in clothes that FIT! Agree with everyone else--hem them for flats.

I agree with Nicole & Shannon. They fit you really well and would make a great casual pair to wear with flats. I'd look for something similar in dark wash for heels.

They fit you really well, Sarah. I can't get over what a difference it makes! I agree w/Shannon that they are casaul, so you'll probably want to wear them with flats. I'd have them hemmed so they just about skim the floor in flats. The length I see in the last photo, should be the length when you are barefoot.

What brad are they? I ask because you should look for this brand in a darker wash. They really do fit you nicely.

I think they fit nicely. Are you wearing heels in the photo? The length doesn't look all that long to me. If they are a casual jean for you then you would not want to wear heels with them. You will want these jeans to be a good length for flat slip on's. Get a dark pair of jeans for your heels.

Here are some pictures of the new jeans I picked up for $12.99 at a consignment store on Memorial Day. They are medium wash, but make a good casual pair of jeans. I tired on over a dozen pair, and these were the only ones that accommodated my flat butt, skinny legs and pouchy stomach. My front rise is the same as my back rise (9”), so it’s almost impossible for me to find jeans. Anyway, here they are: jeans that fit me. I’m wearing them with a shorter shirt just so you can see the fit better.

Front:
http://i301.photobucket.com/al.....G_2584.jpg

Side:
http://i301.photobucket.com/al.....G_2583.jpg

Back:
http://i301.photobucket.com/al.....G_2582.jpg

Length:
http://i301.photobucket.com/al.....G_2588.jpg

They are a tad too long for even my highest heels and I’m still not sure what length I will hem them too. Right now I have so many varying heel heights, and I need to settle on one. Any advice is appreciated.
