Ooh, the keep or return game. I love it! Wish I had been earlier to the game!

I liked both dresses, the Evan Picone one best, and the brown jacket. Big fat "keeps" on those! But it sounds like you're pretty settled.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm having the same issues with tunics for ponte knit pants. This sweater has actually worked pretty well. Maybe something like this could work for you?

LOVE the brown jacket and Evan Picone dress, like the black/ white dress. I don't think the chunky knit sweater and the tunic do as much, I think you can do better. The sizing of all the BR items does seem a little off - but I'm having that problem with their things lately - it's like I'm between sizes and one thing is slightly too small while the next is slightly too big.

But LOVE the brown jacket and that printed dress. Gorgeous!

Oooh, interesting diversity of opinion! Thank you all so much!

The dresses are both definite keepers, although I do agree the tunic isn't really working and it's going back. I felt 'meh' in it the moment I put it on. I will keep looking for a tunic; I've already picked up a couple of cute leggings and nice ponte pants to tuck into boots so I definitely want at least one tunic-style top to go with it. Boof, I do often wear my own dresses with leggings on the weekends, but I think for the ponte pants I need a tunic, else it will be too bulky/strange-feeling.

The fuschia chunky knit is also going back; I actually think it's too small but the large was too big. So the hunt is still on for the right chunky knit!

The blazer was overwhelmingly popular so I'll keep that. It's a Sonoma at Kohl's, VC; I'd tried and returned it before but it was on mega-sale Saturday morning so I tried again. $45 down to $14!

The green BR sweater is a keeper, for sure; once I put a cami on under it (needed because the neck is very low), the itch factor should go away. Angie, not sure if you meant this or the cream cardi looked snug, but this one does fit fine. No lumps or tightness at all -- and I swam in the large so going up isn't an option.

The BR cream cardi, hmmm. I do actually think that one might be too small. The large was big in the shoulders so I went for the medium, but it doesn't feel quite right either. I already have two of this same sweater in medium (navy and dark grey), but I don't have a cream...hmmm. I think it should probably go back. I can find another cream eventually. It's not a color I wear often anyway.

I am going to keep the floaty purple top for now; I think it didn't photograph well because Hubby liked it instantly. I will try it with some straight-leg pants and see if that's better. But I am sticking to my 3-outfit rule: if I can't find 3 good outfits for it quickly, back it goes!

Thanks so much for the feedback, it was all so helpful!

Kristen, the brown blazer is KILLER. Like it with the new navy graphic T too. Fabulous! A big fat 10.

I adore the purple blue dress! Hubby has divine taste. It scores a 9.

The cream cardigan is versatile and the Donna Morgan dress is quite sweet. They score 7’s. Do you think you should size up on the BR top? Love the colour but it looks a little snug.

I vote return the tunic, the floaty tiered purple top and the fuchsia cardigan. They don’t look bad, just think you can do better. I hope that makes sense so let me know how you feel.

Fun fun items!

My favorite is #3 the brown blazer and the navy tee shirt and #4 the green sweater. The colors and fit on those are absolutely beautiful on you!

For the dresses, I like the first and last one best. I actually like the first dress without the belt, that belt looks too casual for the dress, to me. Perhaps a thinner one in patent?

I'm not crazy about the purple sweater, I think it buttons too high at the neck. The cream is OK, but I think you can do even better unless you really need a classic cream cardi.

I hope this helps!

From this list, here's what I'd keep:

Brown blazer - looks really good on you - very slimming and flattering. What brand is it? I might want to go and look myself...definite keeper

Navy tee - I like this, it's something that will go with a lot of things, and it looks really good on you - definitely keep.

The Daisy Fuentes dress is pretty nice too, but I'd change the belt - not sure how, but the belt's not quite right - I keep thinking it needs a pop of cobalt blue or something like that (cardigan or camisole?). The dress itself is pretty wonderful though, so I'd put this in the 'keep' pile.

Love the green sweater - I think it looks beautiful, but just how scratchy is it? If it feels really uncomfortable, then it would have to go back - but otherwise, you look gorgeous in it - this is a really good colour for you! The shape is very good for you. If it isn't too uncomfortable, then it's a definite keeper.

I also like the black and white Donna Morgan Dress.

Final thought - you look *wow* in that green/teal-ish colour! I'm referring to the green BR sweater, the one that might be a bit too itchy, but still - what a spectacular colour on you. What colour is that anyway? This is something truly special on you, colour-wise, and the shape of the sweater is also quite good. I keep picturing this colour on you even in the spring - with white or cream, and burnished gold-ish accessories. Or even a pop of red in the accessories. This is an amazing colour on you - just fabulous!

Ah, the dresses. Love the dresses! The tunic is ok, but I don't love it on you. Maybe I'm too used to how amazing you look in actual dresses. You set the bar so high! :o) I like the tunic best with the jacket. You look great in leggings, and I think if you come across the "right" tunic, you may dig it. I vote keep looking. I think the green BR sweater looks amazing on you. It flatters your figure, and you look gorgeous in that color! Love the floaty top with and without the cardigan. I actually think the black and white dress looks great with the white cardi. It looks very fresh and lovely.

Have you tried any of your own dresses with leggings?

It's time for everyone's favorite game, Keep or Return!

I've been trying to fill some holes in my closet, looking at tunics, chunky knit sweater, and graphic tees and blazers. I also found a couple of dresses, LOL. But now that I have them I am not sure if they're keepers. What do you think?

1. Grey-black patterned tunic/short dress, Daisy Fuentes from Kohls.
It came with a self-belt, I added my own black leather.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....145306106/
With a blazer and no belt
http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....901182280/

I don't know. I keep trying, but I do not get the point of tunics/short dresses with leggings or ponte pants. I feel like a) I forgot to put my pants on, or b) I might as well just wear a dress. What am I missing here?

2. Fuschia chunky knit sweater, Kohls
http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....901182280/

http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....901182280/

I tried it a size up, but I was swimming in it. I like the color, although I won't be keeping the grey top.

3. Brown fitted cotton jacket and navy tee, Kohls
http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....901182280/
http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....901182280/
http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....901182280/

The shirt already got worn today, so it's a keeper. What about the jacket? I like, but I am not sure I will get as much wear out of it as I think I might. I already have a brown corduroy I don't wear much...

4. Green BR sweater. It's a little scratchier than I like, but I think Hubby will be "giving" me this for Xmas, LOL.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....901182280/

5. Purple tiered floaty top, BR. Wow, this was a terrible pose!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....901182280/

6. Cream cardigan, BR. With the purple floaty top. Again, not a great pose.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....901182280/

7. Purple/blue knit Evan Picone dress, Macys. Hubby already gave the thumbs-up for this one. It's also more flattering when I don't jut my hip out. I need to stop doing that, LOL.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....901182280/

8. Black/white Donna Morgan jersey dress, Macys. This one is going to get so much wear!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....901182280/
With the white cardigan. LOL, I look like I'm going to a garden party, six months too early!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....901182280/

What's the verdict? Your comments are much appreciated!
