My guess is there's nothing they can do, but really I am not familiar or even used to the outstanding customer service at nordstrom. Angie's right, maybe a patch? Or perhaps a seamstress can patch it from the back. I have sized up for slightly looser fit.&nbsp; The denim us unusually soft and very pleasant on the skin.</p> <p>Well, a couple of days ago the jeans unexpectedly ripped!&nbsp; It is a huge rip on the side, right above the knee. I was just sitting down with my lef folded under and it happened.&nbsp; Needless to say, I am incredibly annoyed, especially as those happened to be my favorite skinnies.&nbsp;&nbsp; They were not worn a lot, in those 3 months I have had them, about once a week, and washed 2-3 times. I have never had anything similar ever happen with any of the other pairs of my premium denim, and I have had some pairs for 10 years.</p> <p>I am personally not a fan of ripped jeans for myself and would not wear them in public.&nbsp; I know that I can always make shorts out of them next summer, but I am curious if you think it is worth to try contacting Shopbop or Citizens themselves about a possible replacement.&nbsp; Maybe that is not possible because they were on sale.&nbsp; Or maybe I got spoiled by Nordstrom and am hoping for impossible&nbsp; Sigh... </p>
