Dark shiny fabric is hard to photograph, the details blend into the background, and the just came out of the box wrinkles really throw me off. I'd have to see it with your special styling powers worked in to be able to have a real opinion on it. My initial gut reaction is that it is a bit too short, but it could look totally different after you work your magic, and I am biased these days to like hemlines closer to the knee.
