I love the green and wish they were lower heeled. 3" even with the block heel is too risky on all the ice we get. I used to have dark green suede boots that I wore into the ground. It's a sturdy angled block heel, and the footbed is nicely cushioned. I can do a highish heel as long as the toe isn't pointed and the heel is not a stiletto. I complain about not being able to find a certain thing, and then promptly find it an hour later. In this case, I had been on the hunt for a high shaft boot - well above the ankle - for the last few weeks. Nothing in any store - save for one stunning pair from Vince Camuto which had a totally unworkable heel. Grrr. Well, right after posting in reply to Angie's new cold weather look this morning, I find TWO pair at our Nine West store. Can't get the finds from there as their website is down, so found the one I bought &nbsp;on Amazon. &nbsp;The only niggling worry I have is that they are in suede, and are a plum-ish brown. &nbsp;Amazon sells them &nbsp;in black leather , but I won't buy from amazon so...</p> <p>The fit is fantastic, they are comfortable, look great with skinny jeans and cropped flares, as well as with a pair of cropped wide legged tuxedo pants I bought in the summer and have yet to wear. &nbsp;I love the colour - it's very luxurious and will work with lots in my closet, but they are suede so will be limited to non-snow weather or special nights out where I'm not walking through snow. Anyways, for any one looking for this shaft height, Nine West retail had several options! &nbsp; </p>
