I have been hesitant to post a pic because I tend to shy away from cameras due to my hair.</p> <p>I have been told that I have androgenetic alopecia and have been using Rogaine for about 9 months. I am seeing results, but not yet in the front (where the thinning is the worst). I am also on a medication that helps block the hormones responsible for the thinning. It can take quite a while to work, but I am trying to stay positive and hope that it will "kick in" soon. I am throwing everything I have at the problem and am hopeful that things will get better.</p> <p>I'm getting my hair colored soon and will try some layers as you suggested. Do you think cutting some length would help?
