Joy, I'm actually using more bronzes, golds, and browns in my eye makeup. I still do use my eggplant now and again, though. So typically a more bronzy look than before. It seems like I can also get away with less? Could be because my look is more low contrast than before?<br /> Clothing choices...they haven't changed too much. I'm not liking as much black right now, but I have a feeling that when I go in for my next appointment (adding super light blond highlights) that I'll like it better again. I noticed while shopping the other day that I was gravitating towards more almost boho looks. Not too earthy, but longer tunics with jeans (something I've never ever tried before!), low back dresses and tops (again, something I've never done), etc. I actually purchased a few things after my haircut with the new style in mind. I definitely cut it shorter, but at the last minute I decided to go *lighter* vs. darker. Light hair is the only thing I haven't done (with the exception of pink and purple stripes!) yet, so I thought "why not?" If I don't like it, I can color it again in six weeks.<br /> The cut is a bit longer than I anticipated and the color is not as light as I had hoped. However, my stylist wanted to give me the opportunity to see it shorter before I fully commited. I think that's wise - I actually like this length! And in order for my hair to go as light as I wanted, I would have undergone some serious damage and that's not an option.
