But it's true. I let the wet wig dry on its drying stand (or a tall shampoo bottle - Costco size - will do) and when I find it the next day, it almost looks like new. Some strands are stuck together but after I comb it with the wide teeth comb provided, the style is the same, the hair falls the same, only clean.&nbsp;</p> <p>As for the natural hair shown in this post, I don't know yet. You can measure your head circumference (front hairline through top of nape). 21 inches and less is petite. 22.5 inches and up is on the larger side. The wig has to feel a little like a swimming cap. It shouldn’t be loose. Beware that it’s not just the head size, but also the shape. With my synthetic wigs, I had to sew parts of the cap as my head is not as curved in the back. I’m 21.5 inches, but because of shape, regular size wigs tend to fall flat in the back creating an annoying lump. I found that by gently sewing together some wefts near the top together (can be undone) the fit was improved.</p> <p>There are more ways to affix the wig and make it yours. Snapping combs sewn in, bobby pins (use the smaller, sturdier beauty supply shop version) and even glue.&nbsp;</p> <p>This particular wig here, which is human hair, is so comfortable I will not need to adjust it. The cap, already tighter, has a silicone gel in it which is very nice. It’s like wearing a padded sneaker in comparison with my synthetic wigs which feel like ballerinas. </p> <p>It’s always much better to try on because I have found that a “regular” wig is never one universal size. The trick is to always move all<br /> the hair in the same direction, delicately. Then I repeat the same operation in<br /> clear water in order to rinse.
