Miraculously, I didn’t trip on any tree roots or rocks! There is definitely a difference, and it’s mildly disorienting, but not bad. I will NOT wear progressives for running! LOL I’m klutzy enough without! </p> <p>Thanks, all! So I can now look at my phone or a menu or a store label with my glasses on (which I need for distance vision). I just need to find the sweet spot in the progressives to do this. I am adjusting pretty quickly, I think, because my prescription is not very strong — my closeup vision is quite good and needs almost no adjustment. It got off to a very rough start but was overall a wonderful experience. Long story short: it was a yoga retreat with 16 other people, I got a bad cold right before I left, and lost my wallet on the first day there, which I have NEVER done in my whole life.
