I was so lucky they were on a good sale and had one of my 2 preferred sizes (the larger, which I thought would fit well as the stretch in the fabric might have made the smaller size too snug) at that nearby store. I walked straight in and there they were on the sale rack. Shopping is not always so easy, alas.<br /> Thanks to Suz for inspiring me with your pants, and Bridgie it’s fab to “see” you! I wear pants almost every day in our autumn and winter, both to work and at home, and my preferred style is a bit dressier than some people’s even when not working.<br /> I was scrolling through the sale items on my favourite boutique chain’s (Hartley’s, for the Kiwis) website when I saw them. And the website has the wonderful feature “Find in store” on it, and they were at my closest one! I prefer to try on in store if it’s easy. Because I hate returning!<br /> I had been impressed with Suz’s newish Anthropologie pants (see Find), and these remind me of those, although slimmer leg and black. I love the sort of paisley silvery swirls on them. They also will be a good alternative to my favourite olive snakeskin false plain pants.<br /> Thanks for looking. </p>
