I have horrendously bad eyes and years ago got Rx sunglasses corrected for distance only -- which meant I couldn't read the dashboard. Oops! I've never had a problem adjusting to progressive lenses but I see computer screens and reading matter much better with a separate pair of reading glasses.

I order my glasses from Zenni, they're quite frugal. I'll have to check their progressive bifocals prices

Very good with your hair! Progressives are way different to the old bifocals. You can't tell at all and just the one pair is so convenient. They were costly unfortunately.

I have progressives also. I like them a lot. It did take about a week to adjust to them, but now finding the sweet spot for any distance is second nature.

And I love your current choices!

I have invisible trifocals and wear them all the time. They really help with seeing the computer and what Tina said. It was a pain trying to switch glasses all the time and hard on the frames. I hope that someday surgery will be able to correct all my problems.

Great colors! I technically should be wearing bifocals, but my vision for reading is fine as long as I don't have my distance lenses on. So I get away with "cheating" by looking underneath my glasses frames when I need to read. I normally wear contacts, though, which makes reading small print a challenge.

My insurance will not pay for progressives and will pay only for lined bifocals. So I am holding out too. :)

I think we need some hip twentysomethings to start wearing lined bifocals so they can make it cool for the rest of us.

Once you give in and accept bifocals, you'll wonder why you waited and switched back and forth. My correction is small too, but it's nice to see the road AND the instrument panel clearly when driving, and I can also now read the program and see the stage at the theatre. With no-line bifocals, they don't look any different -- except the narrower styles might not work as well. Luckily my face is big enough for bigger frames.

I really like the purple especially.

Lol, I wear contacts, but ironically it makes readers necessary... so much for my vanity!

I really like them both! I am not looking forward to the day I need to do the same. For now, my near vision is great. I just need my glasses for seeing distances.

Cool, edgy glasses--I like them. I hear you on the vanity issue--my eyesight struggles if I spend too much time on the computer and glasses would probably help, but I just not going there quite yet.

I finally broke down and admitted to myself that I need vision correction for both close up AND far away. I went online to zenni and ordered some readers and some glasses to use for driving. I generally don't need both at the same time, so I didn't go for bifocals.

I went with some purple ones for distance vision (driving) and blue ones for reading. I really like them both, as they seem to play well with my white hair.

Eventually, I'll have to break down and do bifocalsome because archery practice is one of the rare occasions when both would come in handy; however, both types of glasses are very minor corrections so I'm vainly holding outhe as long as I can. Maybe I need to unpack the emotional baggage around that one lol
