Yes, they are tortoise-shell in navy and very different than anything I have worn before, but I thought they were kind of cool :). I work as a barber and my same age (around 55 years old) co-workers were less than impressed, but I thought these frames were fun and youthful, and I like to give off that vibe, even if I am a grandma! By the way, the optical business is right next door to where I work, so that is convenient. Many frames were not wide enough at my cheekbone/temple area and made me look cross-eyed. These follow my brow shape better than most, and while they are kind of big, I like them. I could also get them in a torotise-shell brown, though.
