I say it's a keeper. I agree with Antje--on someone slightly older, the ruffle hem might be too much, but you can still really pull it off. The dress has nice detailing, and fits you very well. You could add a structured jacket over the top if you wanted to tone it down. Also, have you tried your waistcoat over it yet? That could be interesting. I'd love to see you mix it up by wearing a bracelet instead of a necklace sometimes. The first dress, a grey and black petite dress in UK size 8 (US4) was unfortunately too big despite the sizing charts stating that the size 8 would be the perfect size for me. I'm not too bothered with requesting a size down as in person, the dress doesn't really appeal to me that much. </p> <p>The other dress though was ordered as a whim on sale for around €15 in a UK size 6 as there were no size 8 left with the attitude of if it doesn't fit me, I'll give it to my younger sister as a treat. Strangely enough, this dress fitted perfectly.
