Thank you all for the replies!

Thistle, I thankfully do not have fussy feet. As a matter of fact, my current pair of loafers and sneakers are a tiny bit small and have almost no support, and I have survived for...well, way longer than I should have! I did see the Everlanes, but I think they are a little too dressy for what I need. I have a lot of dressier options because of teaching, so I'm really looking for something I think I could wear for field trips, a longish walk, my part time job, etc.

Joy, I love those metallic Sperry's and Adam Tuckers you posted!

Kkards, I think dressy sneaker is what I'm looking for!

This is my current Pinterest board of options... I think I need to purge a great deal!! I am trying to stay below the $50-60 range (teacher budget, sorry, I know that knocks out a lot of options).

i'd try a "dressy sneaker"....think of it as a hybrid between a sneaker and a loafer

You may find sneakers too casual for your comfort level. I like loafers to wear casually or smart casually, and even have some in perforated leather for summer. The Franco Sarto loafers that Angie posted are very comfortable. I also like athletic slip-on flats but that may seem too old lady. In Finds below, the first 3 are some favorite athletic flats. The rest are some favorite loafers.

Did you see the Everlanes that Angie posted on her fab finds?

Also, any foot issues that you may need special shoes? Do you have fussy feet?

Hello everyone!

Sorry to bother you all with a new post. I have read here for many years (and even joined the forum briefly in college!), but I wanted to make a new account to ask some questions/get feedback about some upcoming style changes.

Just for background, I typically tends towards a classic, feminine style. I teach at a small private high school that has a professional dress code, so I am used to dressing up every day. I think even my casual wardrobe tends toward a little dressy.

I am trying to update my casual flats and cannot decide between casual sneakers or more of a slip on or loafer style. I attached a Pinterest board with some photos of outfits that are typical of my casual style (the green t-shirt is my uniform shirt for my part time job, and the blue sneakers, black sneakers, and loafers will all be retired).

Here is what I am looking for:

1. Comfort
2. Sleekness
3. Feminine or classic style
4. Neutral color

I have a current Pinterest board where I have been collecting a lot of ideas; I could add that if it would be helpful?

So...do you have any recommendations for me? What would be the most versatile style? The most fitting for my personal style?

Sorry for the length of this, and thank you in advance!

https://pin.it/t4x26m4vbtzq27
