Thank you, ladies! Zap - i have those exact concerns. I've struggled against my idea of comfort and gotten used to woven shirts, but to layer over them with something snug is a different animal! Just for the photo took enough tugging and reaarranging that I wondered if it was worth it. . . so I need to redo it and spend a few minutes in it to see if it's fuss-free. The twinset does not really work worn together, to my eye, as in #1, but # 2 is brilliant. I ask because I am finding so "claustrophobic" to layer multiple pieces like that. I think twinsets are classic and sometimes preppy. They may not be "trending" at the moment, but your styling certainly elevates this one to modern status. Dated (return)? Keep? The cardi is okay, but skip the shell? Vice versa? 1) as is 2) more current styling?
