My husband &amp; I had to go to an alumni awards luncheon today, a cold front came through, &amp; I had to wear sandals because my only closed-in pair of shoes are my athletic shoes, which are not appropriate for the event. I wore my athletic shoes with socks until we got to the parking deck, switched to my sandals for the event, &amp; promptly changed back into my athletic shoes when we got back to the car. Ugh! So today, I ordered another pair of boots. These will still be useful in Mexico, where the temps do sometimes get down into the 60s, with a lot of wind. I don’t know about you all, but my feet are always cold unless it’s summer, so I’m kicking myself for thinking I could do without boots. Here’s what I bought: Alegría Heidi. I love the Alegría brand because the shoes are very easy to walk in, are great for my bad knees &amp; feet, &amp; have replaceable insoles. </p>
