I'm hemming them for a 2inch heel, because honestly, I don't wear heels all that often. Thing is that I do want to be able to wear them in winters, so I should keep in mind the heeled boots I have (note to self). </p> <p>I'll definitely re-think the hem length once more. </p> <p>Astrid, it's amazing that you can wear your flares with flats, despite being petite. But I am short AND curvy, so these with flats weren't looking too flattering. Plus they have a dressy vibe to them. I am happy to wear regular bootcut jeans with flats. </p> <p>Deb, I will have to hem them 3-4 inches. I have not found my perfect pair yet but I will keep looking. Show us how they look when the hemming is done. How much will you need to cut off? They are a lightweight denim with just the right amount of stretch that feels rather like pants than jeans, and a jet black color. They look bootcut on the model, but on me they are full fledged flares! Very 70s stylish!
