I know at one time you said your prefered heel is like a woorkboot, about 1.25 - 1.5 inches. I think you will find the minimus series NOTHING like that. Maybe the more traditional series of NB would work for you? They are some of the most comfy shoes I have owned. Aravons still have that "comfort shoe" look, but the ones I have are not as chunky as a lot of other comfort shoes I've seen. I highly recommend them if your main concern is comfort and not fashion.
