Thanks for the warm welcome. Suz- I'd be very interested to hear about your search for Moto Jacket. Or be directed to links on the subject.This one is 424 Fifth by Lord and Taylor. And I purchased boots in same brand. I think both were made in Italy which gave me higher hopes. I have found that this brand has some nice minimal pieces with just a little flair. Other pieces are too over the top for my simple sensibilities. In terms of moto: I have tried tons from Nordstrom and really thought I was liking a cropped Alexander Wang but it was too stiff and it was a bit refined/dressy/with a nice shine. But it wasn't a "throw it on and go" -- which is what I'm looking for. H&M too tight in the arms but really liked it. Again, this has some hardware that might not be my preference but still considering. AM on "New. I'm so out of practice when it comes to dressing, let alone styling (gosh, that sounds like I've either been institutionalized or recovering from life as a nudist).  Ann from New England, Suz - These were a gift but the label says Cuco (soft touch, comfortable fit, natural feeling) and these are an XL (I'm usually a size 6). They were purchased from ililily. The soft touch does seem to pick up lint and I haven't washed them yet. And yeah, the EF had a sheen that my neurosis couldn't handle. K.M - Glad to know another swimmer. I am enjoying it but still learning basic form of a few strokes -- rather than making it up. I'm actually wearing a skirt with a one-piece with ruching (it's totally wrong) but making me feel slightly more comfortable with exposing several pounds that I am having difficulty shedding. I had the most perfect outfit on last week, only to find that Weather Channel's guesstimate of the local temperature was off by about ten degrees (it was colder, of course), so my rain trench turned out to be not nearly warm enough.   Then about midway to my car, a mischievous wind was absolutely determined to render my umbrella useless - and it succeeded, by collapsing it twice before pulling it inside out.    Oh yeah.   That four-block walk to my car was not at all as I imagined when I got dressed an hour earlier.   And the super-cute fabric Tod's bag my sister sent me, was absolutely not waterproof. So by the time I got to my rehearsal, I was a soggy shivering Bridget Jones-mess.   And then my friend, who is my Sharon/Una rolled into one, made me coffee, and everything was better.   Lots of laughs.   And when I got home, I took a hot hot bath and put on seven layers of warm stuff.    :) I guess my point is, you are going to have lots of days where your best laid plans just get up and make a run for it, and if you can laugh, then you're already making progess :D Janet on "New.
