The texture of things does make a difference how the color appears. It seems to me that chunky, and conversely shiny textures appear darker because they cast shadows. Another color I never wear!</p> <p>It has to be the right shade. I do best with murky tones so maybe that's why mustard works? All I know is I bought the anthro top to see if it'd go with the shoes, and it reminded me of being 13 again; when I was that age I had a favorite yellow tee shirt. Then I put the beret on my head and had to buy it.&nbsp; </p>
