Thank you for the recommendation. I don't love comedies, and that is how this is billed, so I hesitated. But it's not an American comedy - much, much more subtle. I'm really enjoying it and I love Andrea's look as well. I've been watching French series lately to try to brush up on my French skills and it's been terrific. (In Balthazar, they speak a little more slowly than in Call My Agent, but I'm still hanging in there.) Some I watch mainly for the costumes or keep on watching if they otherwise are not too good, but with gorgeous costumes.</p> <p>Like Liesbeth, I really enjoyed the costumes on The Bold Type. I admired the costumes on Undoing - mainly the coats. Also Emily in Paris - a fun perception (maybe a little unreal) of how French women dress. An older favorite is The Good Fight - gorgeous clothes, some from Escada, my favorite brand. </p> <p>Cat2, that brings me to The Good Wife - loved watching the clothes. I actually found the very same jacket worn by the character Jackie Florick in one episode and I wrote a post on it here on YLF, just for fun, about three years ago. The character Captain Bach, played by&nbsp;Hélène de Fougerolles, has great unfussy French style. Her uniform is skinny jeans, tough boots, an interesting button-down shirt (sometimes a tee), and a great jacket, usually with a scarf when she goes out. Practical, yes, but there is something interesting in here. She's made me turn back to button-downs (a favorite anyway), wear scarves more, and plan for a new leather jacket in the fall.
