I think there are some super light shades and fabrications that might not work - especially up north here - but aside from those, neons can be brought into fall just like you did. Is my dress the "highlighter yellow" shade you are talking about? I figured it was more of a neon citron, but I am lousy at describing colors. What jewel tones would work with this? I guess I was figuring since the neon pink skirt worked so well with navy, I should try blue-based tones, hence the denim jacket. (I've worn it with my white denim before, but never with the blue denim until yesterday). Otherwise, black always seemed the obvious choice, but I wonder if that is boring and predictable? Also it's weird because since there's no black on the front, it seems off... until I turn around and people see the back of the dress. When I did my fall planning exercise on the bed, I planned an outfit with leopard booties and a red purse. That was what I was going to wear yesterday, but I was itching to wear the black booties AND I had Suz in my head... whispering that maybe snakeskin with its blue-based tone was a better choice, so I went with that.</p> <p>Any other styling ideas? I do love this dress; it is easy and comfortable to wear. I am wearing a neon color block sheath I bought in the spring but style for fall. However now I'm doubting my judgement! Pics later, but in meantime-- neon still okay to October??? The dress itself is substantial weight Ponte knit. </p>
