It's such a great way to deal with my hair on rainy weekends that anything that works with it jumps up a notch. Vix described it perfectly: a "very light, cool beige/platinum-y driftwood color." It's not a warm cream, but more like a silvertoned beige. A beautiful shade (and quite light) but definitely cool. It was one of those things like geek-chic eyeglasses: they look great if you have the edgy style to show that you're wearing them in a hip manner. The plum is a gorgeous shade, but at least in my location's lighting it's not muted enough for me. [The sheen from the sateen intensifies the color, too.]</p> <p>However, the sand is more of a bone/very light cool beige/platinum-y driftwood color. I've been getting a fair amount of compliments in it, and the color gets mentioned a lot as it's definitely not a standard "boring beige." </p> <p>Normally I wouldn't mention the sand since it since it sounds like you have a deeper beige, but since you're looking at white thought I'd throw it out there.
