Jeneva has just got a similar pattern (snake) from Zara. Not sure on the sizing. I like the look of these.

Try the Via Spiga "Galant" - Nordstrom and Zappos have it in a snake print. I found them VERY comfortable in a half size down from my usual, although regular size might work with an insole. Caveat: my feet are slightly narrow and slightly low-volume. Sorry, I'd include a link but I'm on my phone on a spotty connection, so linking is problematic.

Yes, I like the rubber soles and like the thicker Van-style vs Keds (which have minimal rubber). I just happened upon these that had the woven stuff instead and liked them. But the more I think about it, the more I'd prefer a traditional rubber sole. So, yet another reason to return!

I like this style for you if you can find a pair that fits. I'll keep my eyes open - are you ok with the rubber soles that are on the other sneakers? Right now I'm pining after a pair for something similar in a leopard print.

Ah, I was thinking of another question in my head and should've put it in the title! I wanted to ask if they are *worth* trying to find a replacement, on me. I suspect that some of my shoes from the last haul are actually frumpy, even though I initially thought they were not. I don't think this style looks frumpy on me, but I'm not sure I can trust my eyes.

Mo, yes you are right! I'll go back and look at her post to check the brand.

Sarah A, they are a cream/brown snakeskin pattern and have a woven espadrille portion instead of rubber along the bottom. I'm hoping to find more of a sneaker like this vs Toms, though I do like Toms as well!

It is really hard for me to make out the pattern, are they a black and white geometric or snakeskin print? The last Toms catalog i got had some really striking geometrics, jonathan alder was the collaborator on the collection i think.

I took this as a question if I'd seen anything similar in a 10-11. I don't have any B & M stores so I'm a sorry scout for folks. Online only in my world :(
I like the style. They remind me of the ones Janet recently tried on.

Do I take the silence to mean that I shouldn't replace with something similar? My last post about shoes didn't get many comments, and now I'm getting paranoid that I'm choosing all the wrong shoes! Please, be honest. Are they all terrible? I want to get it right for once, and am viewing this ability to start from scratch for spring/summer as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Am I just continuing to perpetuate the frump?

Sigh. I just got these today, to fit the Vans/slip-on shoe on my wishlist. Cons and Vans don't work for my foot. I found these at Stuart Weitzman and LOVE the way they look! But, they are too expensive and a little tight. The jagged edge scrapes the back of my heels. They need to go back. :(

Have you seen a pattern like this in a slim slip-on style that comes in a 10-11? I also tried a perforated pair from Tory Burch, but they were too short for my big toe. I think I'd walk out of a larger size.

ps - I took the risk and picked up black Okalas, too. All the posts here finally convinced me. I've never owned a shoe that high! They feel more comfortable than any other heel I've tried on, but I'll have to stand in them for an hour or two to really see if I can keep them.
