Prayers for mom and babe. &nbsp;FWIW, my son was also born at 34 weeks and he's a very healthy, happy, brilliant (if I do say so myself) 6 year old now. &nbsp;He's hanging out in the other room with his little sister reading to her right now, in fact. &nbsp;Telling her to be brave. My husband's daughter was born at 26 weeks (over 20 years ago) and is very, very healthy. &nbsp;Sure there were milestones to pass and medical procedures to get through but she had a strong will&nbsp;to live and so she made it!&nbsp;At the time of her birth she was the smallest surviving baby born in a U.S. military hospital -- 15.5 ounces.&nbsp;</p> <p>I hope this encourages you and your family.
