Hmmmm... maybe I just need stretchier jeans, I guess.

I am pretty sure I am an apple... my weight collects in my belly and upper body, for sure. I just posted pics of me in a bikini in the Body Type forum. Maybe I'm not an apple... I don't know.

I have the same problem. I like wearing pants with a slightly lower rise so the belly that spills over can hang over the waistband instead of being trapped (sorry for the image I am painting here!).

I have a pair of low-rise ponte pants with a stretchy waist that are pretty comfy. For lounging and running errands, I wear pants with a fold-over waist. I recently tried some high-spandex content pants from Athleta that were pretty comfy.

Re. jeans, I have no good suggestions. I was planning to try some premium denim made of '4-way stretch' fabric with the hope that those might offer more stretch without the sag.

Are you sure you're an apple?! I don't see much of a tummy in that picture. I'm so used to wearing pants that maybe I've just become immune to the feeling. I'm not sure.

I guess I'm not much help... I hope someone else will chime in!

I am pretty sure... as in general I am more likely to buy my clothes too big rather than too small (always trying to hide something). Here's a pic of me in jeans: http://bitsofpieces.wordpress......go-outfit/

I hate the feeling of my pants being too tight around my stomach... although good posture seems to help a bit. But then I look very unnatural. Just not sure what to do.

Hmm... I suppose I have this problem too but I don't pay any attention to it. I think with our apple belly, the moment we sit down, our "pouch" is going to spill over regardless. I guess I am just used to it. Are you sure you're not buying your pants too small?

My jeans usually fit ok when I'm standing, but as soon as I sit down they constrict uncomfortably around my tummy! (I buy some with a little stretch, too.) What's an apple-shaped gal to do?
