I found some beautiful ones at Marshalls - Cymthia Rowley. They are cotten blend but feel like linen. The sleeves are just above the elbow. I do have to wear a cami underneath because they are split up the back. The drape is really nice and they are fluid and long.

Thanks, Missey (ETA and Kkards and ATLynn). I had totally forgotten about Target. I don't go there much, but actually their quality is pretty good in general with their clothing and their knitwear. I should check them out again!

I just bought some tees at Target that were labelled as tunic length layering tees. They are perfect. The ones I bought were tank tops...I'll only wear them under other items and they layer nicely!

All of my tees are from Old Navy -- their tees run really long on me. They also wear well. I usually give them away before I wear them out (unless I use them as lounge/sleepwear). In full disclosure I have a very short torso so ON cuts may not work for you. However, given what you have already tried have you considered looking at tall cuts? I know GAP and BR offer those cuts but not necessarily in the store.

I am thinking it's a prevailing situation, and it's frustrating. I feel like brandishing my cane and grumbling about kids getting off my lawn...but I think I remember t-shirts made with a much better quality of knit. It's all flimsy now.....the workout wear at the Gap was slightly better, but not that much. I haven't gotten around to all the places recommended here, so I am not giving up yet....

I did get two tees at the Gap. I think they're just solid enough that they might do, at least with a skin-toned bra. Not my black ones for sure (I own more black bras for some reason!). I'm not even that excited about them, or sure I will keep.

I think I will probably return the cargo pants from the other post too. Not a particularly successful day. Typical for me. Sigh.

I saw your other post about the Rack and the tees being too sheer. So I will withdraw my suggestion of Loft, as everything made there is of thin and sheer material.

Joe Fresh has a line of T's in their workout/yoga line that are very long, with cap/short sleeves and a fairly high neck. I have them in every colour for layering. (Don't put them in the dryer, they are not high quality but last about a year with care...only about $10 each). I am 5'8" with a super long torso and find short T's very annoying!

Like Kkards, I recommend Target.
http://www.target.com/p/c9-by-.....956#prodSl

I wear these for workouts, sized up so they don't cling to my belly. I'm 5'5", wear a L in most tops, and the XL in these covers my hips, my low belly hang, and half of my bottom. I really like how they are cut to flare out a bit from high waist to hip to give some structured shape - harder to find in a knit. I've worn with jeans and a knit blazer for running errands. If you wear grey, the black heather is a nice shade for a dressy casual look.

The self colored embroidered logo is much less noticeable in person - I had never even noticed it until I found the link for you. I had to go check to see that these were the same shirts.

My gap Favorite Tee is super long. It covers pretty much my entire butt. If you wanted even more length you could get a Tall. I think this is it although I don't know if they've changed anything since last year. It drives me nuts that gap doesn't give measurements for anything online.

If all else fails, try men's tees in a size that fits you. You might also avoid the dryer and hang to dry. Weighting the bottoms as they dry will restore length and smooth out any wrinkles. I use the men's trouser wooden hangers that clamp and clamp to the bottom of the shirt, sometimes hanging even more weight on the hook. It may take 2 clamp hangers for the whole bottom of the shirt.

Hi. Where can I buy longer tees with short or 3/4 sleeves? Ideally cotton or a blend. Not having luck at the Gap, BR so far. These will be workhorses for upcoming active trip involving a lot of walking. At night I'll be layering under jackets and hoping they work as nice-casual wear.

Thanks in advance.
