How would you feel about removing the trim? It depends on how it's constructed but maybe it could be done.

I love the shoes, and I'd also suggest either skirt+tights or straight leg pants (or under bootcuts but then the trim detail doesn't show, which you mind find OK). Could also work with shorts+ribbed tights. I'd hold on to them, keep trying to style them and think about what drew you to them in the first place.

I never found Danskos very comfy, and they have no traction. Then I found these:

I'm warming up to the skirt + tights idea. Could be cute. I think my main problem is, even though i like these shoes (I did buy them after all), they're a lot different than my normal style. I'm going to keep them til the end of this winter and if i still haven't worn them, donate.

Alaskagirl - AK seems to have a love affair with the clog! I have a ton of friendsup there who swear by those Dansko(?) shoes. Not my thing, but to each their own i guess!

Love these, and here in Alaska you could wear them with anything.

I like skinnies to show off the trim or hose with a skirt or dress.

Winter tights and a cute cute skirt for when you want the shearling trim to show. If the trims not that important than boot cut for sure because the peeking shoe would look adorable. In the spring when its warmer maybe even try a maxi skirt.

With straight leg jeans I think. The shearling trim is tricky

I really can't see these with dresses or skinnies, so I guess that leaves wearing them with bootcut jeans.

I bought these Michael Kors clogs on super clearance maybe 4 years ago and have yet to wear them. In all the fashion magazines this year i keep hearing "clogs are in!" and i think of them and go, "yes! awesome! i have these!". And yet in the box they sit. I guess i'm just not sure what to do with them/what kind of outfits to pair them with...and i'm always hesitant to donate because they are Michael Kors (and i'm pretty cheap. Target and H&M dominate a lot of my closet).

What do you guys think? Ideas?
