I have to admit I enjoy looking at others pictures more when they have interesting backdrops. The laundry room is the only room in my house that has white enough light that the colors of my outfits come out true to real life. I hear you on the proportions thing. I have been struggling with them too lately. I love this length of shirt with long skinny jeans, but durned if I know what to do with it when it's too hot to wear jeans. I think it has something to do with the "rule of thirds". The proportions look off to me both tucked and untucked. I'm generally Team Untucked so maybe my eye just isn't used to seeing the skirt with a tucked in shirt.
