I really like the navy patterned trench from Target, so if you want a trench I'd get that one.

Oh my goodness, I am in love with the Target trench. The blue or the yellow are both so striking! The pattern!!

I really might have to get that one.

I like the green ON style best for your body type (*spanner*). I also like the belted trench coat.

But a cream or white (not khaki) topper is ideal for Spring and Summer. The gals here know I think its indispensible.

So another for rain jacket:

This one, if I remember correctly the color is a little darker in person, which is good because it appears a tad too bright for my liking here.

Sounds like the consensus is the first one, so what about the first one in the blue color. Is that blue neutrally enough do you think? (making up words, I know)
http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/.....=648706002

I hear you load and clear about the rain coat, so I am glad I asked. I actually really want a nice spring green rain coat, I really don't know why. So I will keep looking.

I haven't looked at H&M yet because there is no H&M within an hour of me, but when I go visit my sisters in NH I usually hit the H&M on the way. Just not sure when that will be next.

I did try EMS and one other outdoor store but I found all their coats are very "gear"... not my style at all.

I prefer the second 1 though agree it is perhaps more jackety than coaty.

Also agree with the above comments about the rain coat. Have you tried outdoor/ leisure shops we have Millets and Blacks in the uk i had a fab tie belted rain coat which is navy with blue and white swirls only about £20 which i love- brightens up a rainy day x

I also like the shape of the first one, but I am not sure how the khaki color would look in real life. The second one looks nice, but it's not really a coat. I like the color of the third one, but I agree with Tanya about the shape. Sorry I know I am not helping! Did you try H&M? They have quite a few canvas jackets right now.

First two are both cute, I guess only you can decide what would work the best for you. I personally always try to have a white/cream jacket for spring, since it can be worn with everything, and add one in color later.

I do not like the shape of the rain jacket, it looks quite boxy. I'd like it better if it had a belt.

I really need a spring/summer jacket. I have a white safari jacket from gap, a couple years old. But I think it's officially too small. I don't want to spend much at all because honestly I beat up my spring/summer jackets (shove them in the trunk when I go into a mall, etc), and I prefer a cotten canvas since I wear it almost daily, and like to just wahs it with my normal wash. So I have 2 that I am thinking of.

I like the idea of a nice pop color, but worry it might not go with everything. Anmd I love the shape of the neutral one... I am very torn.

http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/.....=648706002

http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/.....=633455032

Oh, and I am thinking of this one for rainy spring/summer days.
http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/.....=633437022

Thanks!
