I don't really have any other tops to try it with... Mostly because I think that the leather calls for something different than a cotton top. My other silky button down is dark green and fitted without high low hem, so the boxy blue one is definitely more fashionable. Of course a wool sweater or the wool cardigan would work too, but if I wear it going out a wool sweater I can't take off will be much too warm. And I'm not wearing it during the day, especially not at work (most customers are guys in jeans and tees or sweaters). I took some pics with my booties instead of the oxfords. I also tried the boots, but those didn't work - I think I need to show some leg. I'm wearing it with the burgundy turtleneck Texstyle suggested. While I like the idea of this I don't like how the banded hem of the pullover sits on the skirt, especially in the back (right across my bum). It was hers and she wore it before she had me. I'm now fitting into it, although the cut isn't quite right for me. It would fit better if I had less hips and bum. So the fit on top is a bit off. It also needs a small alteration to the lining, because that fabric is so long that it shows when I sit down. </p> <p>I definitely can't imagine wearing it in everyday life, but I'm tentatively thinking of giving it a try for an evening out.
