Wearing one that’s too small would be just as uncomfortable as a too-small 1 piece swimsuit. They usually have snaps down there, but depending on how long the pieces on each side are, you may need to make sure the back one doesn’t dangle into the water. Otherwise, once unsnapped, they’re basically long shirts.
