I'm going to second the vote for tailoring. I've always been really pleased with my results when it's to make something fit just to me.

I agree that both dresses look like they've got extra fabric around the torso. If you keep the 6, can you get the top tailored?

Big thumbs up on the purse and shoes. I like that the purse has multiple colors so you can pull out different colors from your outfits.

I'm with Rae on the dress. I don't think it fits well in the bust in either size. If you really love, you could probably have it tailored just so, but it's probably not worth it unless you adore it.

As for the shoes, that's a whole other story! Those are great! My goodness, you have a super shoe collection shaping up!

I also like the bag a lot and can see you wearing it with lots of things.

I think the size 4 fits a little better, but I vote return both if it's not comfortable and work appropriate. It may be that the fit is off if neither size works well.

Cute bag and shoes!!

I don't love the dress; it seems big even in the smaller size. Maybe it's just puckering because of the way you're turning in the dress. Love the bag. How do you feel about it?

Now that cjh has opened the door to rebel... I think both dresses look too big (ducking). Mainly the bust area - maybe that is the style, but to my eye it just looks like it's too big.

I do LOVE the shoes you're keeping. The bag is cute... do you think a multi-color bag will be versatile enough? On one had, you will always have opportunity for pattern mixing. On the other hand, you always have a pattern to work around.

I'm the rebel and say the sz. 4 dress looks better. The 6 looks loose and a bit baggy to my eye, and you have such a nice trim shape. Maybe if the 4 isn't long enough, search for a different dress.

I love the pointy toe leopard shoes! Too bad they aren't comfy. I couldn't wear them either.

Size 6 dress looks nice. For me, anything well above the knee is a deal-breaker for wearing to work, so my vote is for 6.

I think the teal in the floral print of the bag matches the color of the cowlneck you wore to the park in your previous post.

The 6 looks more appropriate for work. Moreover, if the size 4 makes you self-conscious then you do not need to wear it. The bag and the shoes are beautiful. I agree with Vildy that the subdued print on the bag means that you could wear it with other patterns.

The 6 looks more graceful to me and more proportional to the body somehow. Of course, that's all with arm raised. It's the prettiest fit for arm raising!

The print on the bag looks subdued enough that you could easily wear
it while wearing other florals, say.

I bought two sizes in the Anthro Winter Tree shirt dress and need advice on which one I should keep. The size 6 hits right above the knee, which is a nicer length for work. But the fit is looser and the armholes are slightly bigger so I'd have to wear a cami to keep my bra from showing. The size 4 fits slightly better, but is shorter so I'd feel a little more self-conscious wearing it by itself. Right now I'm leaning towards the size 6 due to the more modest longer skirt length...since it's a wrap dress maybe it doesn't have to be so fitted. What do you think?
1&3. Size 6.
2&4. Size 4.
http://www.anthropologie.com/a.....;color=049

Also, opinions on this Fossil leather satchel? I returned the turquoise Kate Spade Bag because the color was too light for me. So I'm trying to find a new bag that's more "me." I liked this one because of the cool floral pattern (it's soft velvet). And I already have a red Fossil tote which I carry every day (although it's getting a little worn, so it would be nice to have another option). But it will be a little trickier to match with other clothing because of the distinctive pattern. It's big enough to fit my laptop, but smaller than my current Fossil tote. What do you think of it? It does come in solid leather as well, which is a little more boring but practical.
5 & 7--front of bag
6 & 8--back of bag

Finally, a sneak peek at some fabulous animal print shoes! The Angie-recommended B Makowsky Heist in leopard with red trim! I LOVE these! She is right, they are really comfortable for heels. I ordered them from Zappos in a 7.5. I know the back looks a bit big in the picture, but they are comfortable and aren't loose when I walk (anyways, they didn't have a size 7 available to compare it with). The other style I ordered to try was the B Makowsky Norma, which they only had in a 7 and not 7.5. It's a lower heel with pointy toes. I didn't like them--they were too tight and the pointy toe box cramped my feet. I think I've been running more 7.5 than 7 lately in my shoes. Even though the Norma heel was lower, they weren't as comfortable because of the dainty heel and pointy toes. I like retro shoes and chunky heels and ankle straps and red footwear, so the Heist is right up my alley! I can't wait to wear them! Plus they were on sale for $127--woo hoo! (happy dance).
9-11. B Makowsky Heist in 7.5. Love!
12-13. B Makowsky Norma in 7. Too tight and uncomfortable...getting returned.
