Thank you so much for the good suggestions! I may try a straight leg and roll up. Been a busy week so I hadn't been on here to say thanks. Much appreciated!

Chiming in to say you could also consider a straight jean and roll the hem up to imitate the look. That way you have more control over the length. This is what I plan to do when the cold weather finally arrives

Fathenry, depending on your shape, actual men's jeans could be an option. Zara men's grey skinny chinos are the first bf-style pants that work for me. They're long enough to wear rolled or stacked.

Raw denim is a fringe hobby worth mentioning, if you're interested in breaking in your own jeans. Mine are 15 oz, upper side of mid-weight, so they're warm. But I'm not sure how ideal heavy cotton is in very damp cold.

Thank you so much all for your good ideas. The hose, the skinnies, the longer bfs. I'm looking at a pile of jeans that I should try. I think I will also try to find the kuts in blue. I didn't realize my height was the problem but I think that's what's throwing me off. The jeans called BF are pretty short on me. Thanks!

Fathenry, you might love a blue version of your Kut Catherines. I just got them in a darker blue wash, no distressing, and I got them a size down from my white ones , for a less baggy fit. (That is, I got my usual size--for the white ones I sized up one size.) They work full length on me, so I can wear them down with oxfords or rolled over booties.

Also, if the Kut Catherines work for you, the Kut Diana skinnies might also. They aren't as tight a skinny style as some, and I almost bought them, sized up one size, instead of the Catherines in blue. I passed, though, because the Catherines had a very slightly wider leg opening, which I was looking for, and what seemed a slightly lower rise, at least in back, though I didn't measure.
I'm also wearing my Kut Stevie straight legs a lot this season. Took my regular size in them.

It depends how tall you are.

If you are not super tall, you may be able to find BF jeans long enough to wear full length or even full length with a cuff. My True Religion BFs are long enough for me to wear that way, as are my Rag and Bone Dres. I'm 5'4."

If you are taller, then you may have to wear your BFs tucked into short boots if you want to continue to wear them. Or find a pair labelled "tall" -- but even then, many styles are not made to be worn full length.

Angie suggests rolling and wearing with nude hose to mimic the way it looks with bare skin. For my climate this could work until (maybe) mid-November and then it would become too cold to wear.

The truth is, I wear my BFs a lot more often in the spring and fall than any other time of year. It's too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter to wear them. Winter is skinnies season (tucked into boots).

I live in Seattle, where it's wet, but not so cold right now, and I've given my boyfriends a break. I'm not sure if it's because fall brought more fluid tops, and I'm not into fluid-fluid looks right now, or if I stopped because my husband complained that all of my jeans looked like they belonged to someone else. Mostly now, I'm wearing somewhat relaxed skinny jeans, rolled above booties. It seems like you could wear boyfriends the same way, though. And if it's cold, wear knee high hose or socks, like Sarah suggests.

Ha Ha - yes a new boyfriend! I bought my first premium pair of BF jeans this year and LOVE them! I have 7 For All Mind Kind slim cut BF jeans in a darker wash. Every time I wear them I'm asked if I lost weight! Now I'm wearing them so often I can hardly get them washed. I'm still rolling mine and plan to continue in the winter and try some of Angie's suggestions of nude hose or socks.

Hi ladies, I have realized I am down to only one pair of jeans! Yikes! I have literally worn my white Kut Catherine BF jeans 3 times a week since I bought them 3 months ago. I need a second pair of jeans now that it is fall. What should I buy, and how does a rolled up BF Jean work for winter in a cold, wet climate? I would love to know what jeans you are wearing now that it is fall. Thank you so much!
