It can also help lengthen a really small scarf like the blue gingham napkin. For a longer scarf, it makes it more of a casual necklace. If long enough, I like to add loose overhand knots for the look of beads. I like to twist as in 2-5. 3 is under the collar,and 5 is over it. This neckerchief is a rather small cotton napkin and 4 could be better with more length. All are cotton except #1, which is hand dyed or painted silk. </p>
